Gasser Style Bolt On Straight Axle Subframe
The problem with straight axles on the street has traditionally been driveability. Our frames have been engineered to solve this problem.
It has a front steer design to provide virtually no bump steer. Correct steering geometry and 8 degrees of positive caster will allow you to cruise the freeway with one hand on the wheel. This setup also allows you to use almost any oil pan. You don’t need the hard to find horsepower robbing Chevy II style with the notch in the sump. Plenty of clearance for those big headers too! Under chassis or, for a real Gasser, get the fenderwells!
Built for a Perfect Fit
The frame horns and crossmember have been built to be a perfect fit for your stock radiator core support. With 8 threaded inserts installed, it will bolt right on and make it an easy deal to install your fenders, grill, etc. You can also get optional thru-bolt sleeved bumper support mounts. installed if you decide to use your stock front bumper. The urethane bushed tube style motor mounts provide the strength of solid motor mounts without the severe vibration. Contact us with your requirements.
Raw Power & Precision
These are quality, well engineered subframes designed for lots of horsepower, and even a wheelstand or two. Jig built with the closet tolerances in the industry. All mounting plates are precision laser cut and the upper support tubes are CAD profiled to guarantee ease of installation.
The basic kit includes: the frame (shown powdercoated, available as an option), super slide springs with urethane bushings. Vega steering box with polished stainless steel pittman arm, FORGED spindles with pre-fitted pins, 9 ¼” Mustang II style vented rotors with a 5 x 4 ¾” bolt circle, GM metric calipers with pads, bearings, seals, etc.
The steering arms are custom fabricated for proper geometry. The tie rod and drag link include 5/8” rod ends with cone spacers to eliminate any bind throughout suspension travel. The shocks are chrome PRO pieces. The hardware kit includes all grade 8 fasteners, with grade 9, 12 point bolts to attach the frame to your Hot Rod.

There are probably many more options than listed here. If you don’t see what you need, call or e-mail us. If we don’t have what you need, we'll either get it or we’ll manufacture it. We also specialize in vintage drag and circle track restorations and compiete builds, ro11 bars, cages, rear ends, complete frames, etc. We have an in-house machine shop, and prototypes are a specialty.

We also offer the bare frame, fully welded for those who want to add their own parts and components. Truck freight is based on delivery to a commercial address with a means of offloading (fork lift, etc.). If you do not have access to this, we can quote a residential/lift gate service for an extra charge, or you can pick it up at the nearest freight terminal. They will load it onto your pickup truck or open trailer at no charge. We pack very well to avoid possible damage and theft. Insurance is always included. Local pickups are always welcome.

We will custom build the perfect package for your Hot Rod. Most of the work is done for you, jig built and fully TIG welded to your specifications. Pinion angles and instant centers are calculated for your specific build. We MUST have very precise measurements from you for a successful installation.
Welding and some chassis setup skills are also required for a perfect final result. We will always be glad to assist in any technical help, but the end results will always depend on the final installation. If you are not qualified, or do not have a qualified chassis shop to complete the installation, we highly recommend you bring the car to B'z Rods. All pricing is FOB B'z Rods.
Tubular Transmission Crossmembers $129
B'z Rods tubular transmission crossmembersbolt into the stock location and are a perfect fit when using our Gasser front end kit. Uses stock style transmission mount, (aftermarket urethane mounts strongly recommended). — Available for most 4-speeds, powerglide and Turbo 350.
Steering Column Lower Mount $55.99
Our steering column lower mount secures the column at the firewall/toe panel, and bolts up to the factory holes.There is currently nothing else on the market that will fit a '62-67 Nova without extensive fabrication. Fits Flaming River and other 2" diameter columns.
DOT Approved Caliper Lines $57.95
These braided stainless steel caliper lines are custom made for B'z Rods and not available anywhere else. They have female -3AN 90 degree ends and are DOT approved! Most commercially available caliper lines are for off road use only. Use these lines with our caliper fittings and through frame brake fittings, and plumbing your brakes on your Gasser is a snap! The anodized aluminum sleeves are available in red, blue, purple, silver gold, and black. Sold in pairs.
